Mother Kevin- Nsambya Campus
Uganda Martyrs University Nsambya Campus, uniquely situated on the grounds of St. Francis Hospital Nsambya on Nsambya Hill in Makindye Division, serves as the university’s premier health and clinical training hub. Anchored by the Mother Kevin Postgraduate Medical School, our campus was established to bridge academic theory with intensive clinical practice under a values-driven framework. Backed by an accomplished team of medical educators and state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, we nurture exceptional health professionals trained to lead with competence, integrity, and deep compassion for human life.
To meet the rigid schedules of medical training and practicing clinical professionals, the Nsambya Campus runs highly structured study sessions that include full-time, day, and intensive modular formats. Our academic tracks are fully integrated into hospital rotations, providing students with immediate, hand-on exposure to complex clinical scenarios. Main enrollment periods open regularly across the key university intake tracks in January, May, and August. [1]
The academic registry at the Nsambya Campus specializes heavily in medical and healthcare sectors, hosting elite postgraduate tracks. Prospective students can advance their clinical careers through recognized Master of Medicine programs specializing in General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics. Alongside these clinical specialties, the campus hosts public health and healthcare management tracks structured to generate the next generation of medical administrators in East Africa.
