Faculty of Education
The Faculty of Education is one of the pioneer faculties since the inception of the university. It was started in 2002 running education programmes at Diploma, Bachelors and Masters Level and PhD level. The faculty offers academic excellence and vibrant Education tailored to a semester and Trimester system. The faculty has expanded in many aspects, including an increase in the number of students, lecturers, and teaching facilities.
Currently, the student population stands at over 1000, including both undergraduate and postgraduate students. The faculty also boasts competent and highly qualified academics serving as full-time members of staff. These include holders of postgraduate qualifications, i.e., PhDs and Masters, and some at the level of Associate and full professors.
The Faculty of Education at Uganda Martyrs University is available across multiple campuses, including Nkozi, Lubaga, Fortportal, Masaka, Mbale and Ngetta.
