Uganda Martyrs University Lubaga Campus, situated in Kampala just below Lubaga Cathedral, serves as a hub for postgraduate studies within the capital city. Established in 2000 by the Episcopal Conference of the Catholic Bishops of Uganda to blend work and study for professionals in Kampala, the Campus moved to its present 1.75-hectare site in 2010. Pioneer faculties included the Institute of Ethics and Development Studies and the Faculty of Business Administration and Management, offering part-time programmes to busy working professionals.

The Campus offers postgraduate programmes on a part-time and blended basis, with undergraduate programmes offered full-time and blended, delivered through Day, Evening, and Weekend sessions to suit working students. The Campus has continuously upgraded its ICT infrastructure and internet bandwidth over recent years, ensuring reliable wireless connectivity, with plans underway to launch EDUROAM for remote access nationally and internationally across the University community.

Lubaga Campus hosts postgraduate and undergraduate programmes from the Faculties of Business Administration, Arts and Social Sciences, Health Sciences, Science, Education, Agriculture, and Law. Master’s students are encouraged to publish at least one article from their dissertation research, while PhD students must publish two articles before their defense, contributing to a steady increase in the University’s research output and publications.
