Faculty of Health Sciences
Our mandate of the Faculty of Health Sciences is to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and the training of health managers and public health promoters, primarily at and by the university. On invitation, we also contribute to the training of health managers/promoters at their workplaces and within their area of jurisdiction in Uganda and anywhere else.
Our vision is to have a critical mass of competent and responsible managers of health services and public health promoters in Uganda, who will contribute to equitable, efficient and effective healthcare system enabling the residents of Uganda to enjoy a good health status.
Our mission is to create a critical mass of health managers and public health specialists who highly knowledgeable, skilled and competent and equipped to make a difference. In so doing the faculty contributes to the good health and quality of life of the population in Uganda and Africa through research, teaching and community activities
