Uganda Martyrs University Students have embarked on a move to foster and consolidate good relations between UMU and the neighboring communities.
As part of the activities, on Saturday 11th December 2021, the 27th Uganda Martyrs University Students’ Union (UMUSU) mobilized fellow students who cleaned up the Nkozi Trading Centre.
On the same day, the students led by their Union President, Cassious David Kisakye also made a donation of mosquito nets to the maternity ward of Nkozi Hospital. This donation was received by a team of midwives at the ward who appreciated the warm gesture.
“This donation is a mark of our appreciation to the Nkozi Hospital for their great work,” the UMUSU President said.
He also appreciated his fellow students for sparing time to help out in the activities and promised to continue assisting the neighboring communities in every way possible.
