Uganda Martyrs University gets new patron

Uganda Martyrs University (UMU) community has expressed joy upon receiving a new Patron, Most Rev. Dr. Paul Ssemogerere.

This follows the appointment of Rt. Rev. Dr. Paul Ssemogerere as the new Archbishop of Kampala Archdiocese on 9^th December 2021. His appointment to the Archdiocese of Kampala automatically makes him the new Patron of Uganda Martyrs University.

He is following in the Footsteps of; The Most Rev. Dr Cyprian Kizito Lwanga (RIP) who was the Patron of UMU from 2006 – 2021 and His Eminence Emmanuel Cardinal Wamala from 1993 – 2006
