Uganda Martyrs University (UMU) Prof. Jimmy Spire Ssentongo has scooped this year’s Janzi Award for Outstanding Cartoonist.
He was nominated in two award categories: Outstanding nonfiction writer and Outstanding cartoonist. He won the highest public votes in both categories, and emerged winner for Outstanding cartoonist
In his words, he thanked everyone for appreciating his modest contribution to Uganda through cartoons and writing.
